Not being able to use any pokemon you want would be a pretty significant negative, but ignoring absolutely everything else good about a game because it doesn't have all of them is childish. The designs shouldn't be the entire reason the games exist. At that point why make a video game and not just release an art book. You don't actually give a shit about the quality of the games, you just need to have pokemon because it's your identity now or whatever.
The charizard thing also shows that you missed the entire point of my argument. Having just shillmon would be shit, having a good variety of mons is good, and if cutting some, as bad as that is, makes the game good than so be it. That's assuming the quality of the game will skyrocket like the image implies, which it won't because GF are incompetent and will never release a good game again.
An amazing game with a lot of pokemon is better than a garbage one with all of them. Your opinion may differ, but at least try harder than turning into a bootlicker at the sight of a dex.
