Why people don't like moltres' design ?

I don't especially love its design but I'm like completely neutral about it. That's just a simple bird with fire as wings. It's like ponyta/rapidash. I don't think it's looking bad actually the design is just simple so it cannot be bad for me.

The wings are ugly and in most depictions are just straight flaps with no definition.
Proportions of a rubber chicken.
Covered in fire because lol how do we convey the idea of a fire type?
Ho-Oh is a way better design.

Honestly probably one of the worst designs.
>out of all the cool looks they could have gone with for a bird, they picked the lamest, most rubber chickenesque design

Some cool designs are very simple just like Ponyta and Rapidash. Just taking an animal and pokemonize it could bring to an aesthetic design such as dewgong.
Simple design doesn't imply bad design.
I would say the opposite most of the ugliest pokemons are complex designs.
