They felt more challenging, I actually had to grind and strategize several times whereas in BW2 I kept winning with underleveled and unevolved Pokemon, Cheren and Bianca were better than the Purrloin dude, the story was more interesting, better legendaries (I don't think Kyurem is aesthetically pleasing), being only able to use Unova mons was incredibly fun to me (subjective, I know), and overall I had a waaaay better time with these than BW2. Don't get me wrong, I like the latter as well, but they feel like a downgrade to me. I've always felt this so I'm surprised that so many people claim the otherwise, and so passionately, as well.
