How serious. I'm sure there were a lot of deaths. It's not like Pokémon characters can survive being frozen or anything. It's not like Opelucid's NPCs come back to their normal places after the city is defrosted or anything.

Just because pokemon survive being frozen it doesn't mean humans can. You get your entire body frostbitten, you die. They're obviously not going to show any innocent casualties with this being Pokemon.
