Don't you find it weird how few trailers we're getting from this game ? For SM we got 3 trailers each months

I wonder if they're doubling back because ORAS and SM showed off everything. I'm also wondering if they really don't have much to show at all; the way things are looking that's probably the case. Haven't even officially revealed Impidimp even though it was a required fight in the E3 demo.

My guess is that the game has very little content (even less than sun and moon) and they are trying not to spoil everything.

Also, sun and moon had features which were visually distinct and could be easily showcased in video form. You can only show a pokemon GETTING BIGGER and an empty field so many times before it’s fucking boring.

The most likely scenario is that there's nothing worth showing that's as exciting as what we already know, aside from maybe the evil team. They kinda blew their load revealing what they have already.

Could also be they don't want to advertise the new games because any news will be met with seething over Dexit. It's also possible they got smart and realized they revealed all of Sun and Moon prior to release and they don't want to do that again. But the most likely option is there's nothing left to show.

USUM at least has the excuse of it being a 3rd version. They typically just add a few new areas, tweak the plot slightly, and in the case of the really good games, add postgame. This is a new generation we're talking about. SM might have sucked shit but the hype season was fun seeing the new characters, alolan forms, and region. They had lots to showcase(granted the trailers covered the whole game). Hopefully this means that a lot of the content in SS is gonna be a surprise but I doubt it.

Good. People were bitching at how SM spoiled pretty much everything in the game. It's nice to just get bits and pieces. Just main mechanics and a few notable characters and Pokemon. That's it.
