Hell the Pokemons even get extra illustrations showing off their gimmicks on the official site at times. Meanwhile all we know about Nessa or whatever is their gym type.
The marketing so far has been night identical to the last two games, the only major difference is that this time we had a demo at E3.
>>39579175"To be fair" nothing. That's not being fair, that's making assumptions out of zero content. At this point of release everyone assumed Lana was going to be a shy girl instead of lying prankster, everyone assumed Sophocles would be a chubby nerdy kid when he was just a introvert and so on.
This game is being directed by Ohmori, and so far none of his characters have been something you can guess 100% thru their design. It's asinine to say "ugh, all characters are so uninteresting" when we only have their appearance in mind. At best you can say you don't like their designs, which is fair enough. I personally hate all new designs too. But that's all we know so far about any of them.
