What do you think of the poison type? Do you have a favourite poison mon? It's my favorite type personally, so I'd appreciate a poison type thread

It's POISON. Toxins. Acids. Venom. Putridness. Pestilence. It's one of those types that's just inherently cool. Personally I always thought of Poison as the underdog of Pokemon

One of the only times I actually stayed focused enough to beat FireRed was with a poison monotype team. I used Venusaur, Golbat, Arbok, Nidoking, Tentacruel, and Vileplume. Honestly was one of my favorite play throughs of any pokemon game

Poison-type rules. It's conceptually one of the coolest and most sinister types. It's among my top 5 favorite types.

Put a mega Beedrill on your team for a lot of fun. Outspeeds almost every mon without a scarf, most obnoxious U-turner with Adaptability, and a hidden gem with Fell Stinger which makes it incredibly dangerous. It's always my lead in monotype.

Roselia sounds like a good idea, especially since it can use toxic spikes. You can also make it work with Crobat if you manage to make it learn nasty plot

They are the Trifecta. Land, water, and air pollution.

They unironically embody the absolute pinnacle of Poison-type design. They are filthy, putrid, and disgusting; all 3 of their final evolutions are in my top 10 favorite Pokemon.

Poison types have some really fucking ugly designs, imo. However, they balance it out by having some of the best designs.

Greatest type for Pokemon designs is Bug, though.

Didn’t like it much as a kid, but in the last few years it’s become one of my favorite types. Nidoking and Crobat are a couple of my favorites.

Favorite Poison type is Salazzle. I usually overlook this type because a lot of the designs are fairly bland.

This is my Poison-type monoteam but I also really like Weezing and Swalot. It’s a great type. These guys actually do a lot of work, I beat my friends monoteams the most with this one.

better at being the 'vilainious' type than the edgy dark type

the downside was the fact that they only had SE against one type for a while but that's one thing about fairy types i like.

Maybe someone obsessed with the old trope of ingesting a little bit of poison at a time to build up a tolerance? Its a myth in general, but might work in a Pokemon settling, and might make for an interesting, eccentric gym leader

Otherwise, I can imagine an Alchemist character might be good for it
