The animation rarely gets offensively bad (the pokémon anime in general has surprisingly less QUALITY that you could expect from a weekly show that's aired for over 20 years), but out of the 130+ SM episodes so far there's probably a dozen or so with impressive animation throughout.
However, I'd say half of the episodes have at least one scene that catches the eye when it comes to animation, usually used for comedy.
