Daily reminder that Gen 8 mon's aren't only cucked design wise. We're about to face a similar plague to Aslowla. Most Gen 8 mons are gonna be single stage shitmons with garbage stats that rely on Dynamax/Gigantamax. After those are removed next Gen everything except the powercreep legendaries is basically gonna disappear from existence.

The Aslowla meme never was funny to me because these people forget gen 5 which also was super slow and only had mon numbers to help more with speed variety. The Vikavolt meme is also rehashed from Escavalier but much worse despite it being faster.

The difference is that a lot of stuff in gen 5 was also either really fast or reasonably fast. It wasn't like Alola where most things are really slow and barely anything even reaches base 80 speed besides UBs and shit like that. Gen 5 had a lot of fast and a lot of slow mons, whereas Alola is mostly just slow mons.

They could just give things like Dynamax and Z-Moves and Megas to different things. You know, like they were doing.

As for side content feature creep doesn't apply because you don't have to use them and they don't really have to change much meaning very little work goes into keeping them.

The E4 just feels like a formality in Gen 7, the real bosses of the game are the Totems and in USUM, Ultra Necrozma.

Once you've beaten Lusamine (SM) or Ultra Necrozma (USUM), the game already feels like it's over.

They're certainly not going to evolve, but I'm betting both of them have previous evolutions.

We were shown Gogoat long before Skiddo back in XY, and Bewear and Mudsdale were shown way before Stuffle and Mudbray.
