Shit like the last important character in the story, Wallace, not having his ace be a Mega (the only character to not have one for his ace in the DE) makes far less sense in context of what they were doing.
The only thing I can even imagine possibly being good about a Platinum Episode is that they might actually involve Arceus in the story. Having a portal dump out into the Hall of Origin after catching Giratina would be pretty cool if Gen 8 weren't set to be garbage.
