So with Sword and Shield hype officially dead on /vp/, what are you going to do now, Anon? Are you and your Pokemon just going to stay in Alola forever?

I didn't plan on this being a permanent vacation but at least here I know that my 'mons are safe.

I always leave my pokemon in the generation they came from ever since I couldn't go from gen 2 to gen 3. This doesn't affect me at all.

Ultra Sun is the final game for the time being, so I'm working on collecting all the past titles. Even in this age of homebrew, transferring between gens with pirate copies is a bitch, so I'm doing it legit (i know there a save edit tool for this but fuck it) with a DS Lite i managed to get in excellent condition and a New 2DS XL. Pokewalker is on order from Japan, maybe I'll get off my ass for once.

Currently playing through Black and following up with Black 2.

Been going back and replaying all the gen 1-5 games in no particular order. Trying to build a living dex to keep in White 2. After that I'll probably mess around in the Battle Frontier in Emerald and Platinum and maybe even try getting into competitive in Showdown.
Really sucks that this is the end though. I honestly thought Sword and Shield would impress me after Sun and Moon had so much untapped potential, but oh well.
I'll still hold out that one day Game Freak will make a truly wonderful game again, but I'll keep ny expectations tempered all the same.

I'm going to do the same as always. Pokemon isn't even that big in my life nowadays. I'm not a kid without responsibilities as I was during gens 2-4 nor the autistic college student I was during gens 5-6, I have real life things to do and think about now. Not going to get depressed just because the next games look like shit. I already skipped ORAS / USUM / LGPE, it's not like this is going to be the first time

Old team'll be in Alola indefinitely, I'm not impressed with the games lately and would rather not waste the cash.

Hell, I don't even browse vp much anymore other than lazily on my days off(like today).

I find myself not even caring about my bros possibly being perma deleted. Thinl I've reached my limit with the series.

I'll probably stick to gen 6 and maybe have another bash at gen 7, I wasn't really feeling it the first time but maybe a fresh perspective will let me appreciate the islands more. The worst part is still the forced interactions every 2 minutes.

I'll play Sword Shield anyway. I stopped and realized that I honestly never really bothered completing the Dex, my Bank subscription existed mostly because I was like "lets see how this works" and I paid once and then never again. I suppose I am a bigger casual fan than I thought I was. So it honestly will not be affecting me much.
