There's 1 dragon with each secondary type except the basic dragon. Imagine an open world game where your starter is one of those dragons and depending the dragon you choose you start in a different village in that open world.

For me it would be the Steel starter

It's a garage kit, so you'd probably only be able to find them at the creator's booth in Comiket and that's if you're lucky enough for the guy to mass produce and sell them. Keep your fingers crossed for bootlegs.

The middle one looks better now though. The tail going around the torso instead of around the waist looks more like a sash royalty wears. It suits the theme much better.
Although the new knuckles on the gorilla are a bit edgy for my tastes since it’s supposed to be a starter.

It's a neat concept but it would take waaaay too long to evolve Pokemon. It seasons were still monthly, then for example, if you started the game in Winter, your Woolurm wouldn't be able to evolve for three months.

My literal only complaint about these are how much they can blend together if you look at them all in a row like this. They're all distinct enough, but there's only 3 or 4 body types he uses. If you mixed these into a generation with regular Pokemon to break it up a little it'd be perfect.

Yeah, there are too many that fall under the "pure white body with some grey accents" umbrella, like >>39576660 and >>39576669 and pic related.
I'm not a furry but the way this one shows his butt off makes me feel funny.

All the designs are great in a vacuum but some of them end up looking too similar to eachother when you really compare them.

Garage kits don't come pre-painted either, so you'd need to have a history of being really into W40k figures or something similar if you wanted to have the skills and supplies necessary for it.
You could hire someone to paint it for you but that would probably run you an extra $100.

Garage kits get chinese bootleg versions eventually. They're usually decent quality because they typically use the figure itself as the mold. You'll get a cheaper quality PVC but you wouldn't be able to tell after painting it.

Check out Pokemon Apex. Flaws aside it's pretty much exactly what you're looking for, though it has more of a Final Fantasy + Technology feel than strict high fantasy.

Normally I'd say a few months to a year, but this is much more niche than other, similar figures. Being paired with Touhou helps its marketability a lot so I'd say a year, maybe two years, but maybe more.

On the contrary my guy, your Tortoise looks amazing. The only complaint I'd say is it looks way more like a water/ground type than a dragon/ground. Personally not a fan of the "dragon type because yeah lmoa" trope nintendo's been doing. If you're were going for that Sudowood-like fake out though, all is good.

Special tank Death Wyrm sounds amazing though. Are you going to post that somewhere?

Someone last thread said to try giving it a dress instead of a pile of hair. I don't really like clothes on Pokemon but I guess if there was an exception it'd be a ghost, they're already unnatural. Still tried to make it look like natural fin material or something.

Still doesn't really look like a Pokemon to me, so any advice on how to fix it would be appreciated. Even just general advice on how to emulate the style. I have 50 something fakemon and just can't figure this shit out.

I just came up with this little guy the other day. Been a little obsessed with rubber ducky isopods lately, so I thought maybe a fakemon one could work. It's just a rough idea. I kind of don't want to add Bug to it, but I thought it fit because little isopods like that (aka roly-polies) get called bugs a lot, at least by people I know. I'm thinking it could have maybe Hydration/Sap Sipper for its standard abilities, and maybe a unique one that lets it take less damage against 'smashing/squashing' moves (Stomp, Rock Slide, Body Slam, etc) due to its hard shell.

I don't have a name for it yet, and I modeled it after Psyduck since it has the closest look to a rubber duck. Wouldn't mind getting feedback on it.
