Me too. And there's more to an adventure than just catch, battle and grind. Those Minigames are also a part of the adventure.

And it is. Yeah sure, that 10 min tutorial was pushing it, but you never have to try it again afterwards. Which is a shame because to be honest, it's a very underrated minigame.

Fucking this. Things like finally reaching the rest house or Snowpoint after pushing through the snow routes are what made DPPT feel so alive to me, more so than any other region. People who complain about Sinnoh being too slow are ADHD riddled spergs who need to be put down.

No joke. When I first played Diamond when it came out I remember finally making it Snowpoint City, I made a focused effort to never touch route 217 again. A few of my friends at the time felt and did the same.
I understand and appreciate the attempt that was made, but it could've been done so much better and easier. It's an objectively a bad route if people actively go out of they're way to avoid it.

Throw the mud routes and the Safari Zone in there too while you're at it.

I'm starting to get the feeling that Sinnohfetuses live in Florida or something and has had never experienced snow. Snow is objectively the shittiest kind of weather. I'd honestly rather play in an empty hallway than risk getting hypothermia.

I don't know about an actual DS, but on an emulator the sink zones in the marsh routes and the Safari Zone are colored darker than the normal ones, so at least you can wind your way around them most of the time. But there's no such distinction for the snow routes as far as I recall.

I used to expect that having to free yourself from mud would trigger some kind of Pokemon encounter. The fact that it's a flavor feature implemented exclusively to fuck with you with no justifiable upsides is what really gets me.

Literally this, I live in California by the coast and even though it barely gets up to 95 degrees, cuz it's so fucking humid, it becomes beyond unbearable, add to that, the extra shitfest that is overall US weather right now, and you can imagine how truly fucking awful heat can get when water particles are involved.
Even fucking Mexico, which can get notoriously hot, feels better due to the more dry ass humidity levels of it

Sinnohfetus here. I live in one of those "literal who" states where it's freezing most of the year, and then hot and humid the rest. It doesn't help that this state is boring as hell. I don't mind snow, but when the snow melts a bit, freezes, then goes to the negatives, it gets really annoying.
