I can't enjoy challenges such as Nuzlocke, Monotype teams, Randomized or even Speedrunning.
If I do one of these Challenges I use to look up the best Pokemons for my team, throwing out any Pokemon which isn't RU Tier or higher and it burns me out quickly, ending in me putting the Game aside.
But when I don't care and just catch what I want(like is used to do as kid) i enjoy the Game.
When I make it into the Hall of Fame with a Butterfree which joined me at the start of my journey and had its fair share of my victories, than having a Lv 52 Garchomp which I got almost late game and I rarely used in any fight I feel enjoyment.
