this series is similar to ghibili movies and other slice of life x adventure and satoshi is amazing character wise in this, he feels like 10 years old finally, amazing series, really, many characters got their spotlight, hope galar will have good writing too

That's the thing, him winning right now wouldn't help because he also has the battle frontier and the orange league, so it's known that he's better than that. The Kalos League, and the other leagues for that matter, are clearly at a higher level than Alola's league.
Also Faba and Hau aren't exactly what you'd call strong.

Sinnoh? I feel like that was the league where he deserved to win the most. That was the one where Ash made the most creative choices and did better against the winner than anyone else.

I know a lot of people expected him to win the Kalos league but Sinnoh is the time Ash's loss felt the most like he'd been robbed.

Highly anticipating Meltan evolving.
-Meltan and Melmetal very likely not to be cut from the dex
-Incineroar already exists in the region because of Masked Royal, rare that there'll be two Incineroars on the field
-Meltan known to be a powerhouse
The only thing stopping this is the fact that Meltan has to be evolved in Go to get Melmetal, though honestly they can bullshit through it. Just say that the power of all the Meltan in the region made it evolved.

They're native to Galar, they were revealed to start building hype for the new generation before it's officially announced. Same as togepi showing up in the anime and all those johto pokemon in the 1st movie, munchlax and bonsly getting appearances in gale of darkness well before gen 4 and munchlax showing up in the deoxys movie while manaphy got a movie to tie in with the ranger game needed to obtain it, or zorua and zoroark getting their own movie before gen 5.
