Not a single soul except for the original Affleck leak has been posted and even he was fucking pissed with the current state of pokemon, most other leakers were alot more excited, just look at Riddler for proof of that, motherfucker made the entire wait season into a guessing game
The only other thing we've gotten not in the affleck leak was some shit called Meteodyna but have you seen anything on it at all?
Marshadow was speculated to high fucking heaven with what it could be, not a single soul even THINKS about meteodyna, to a point that no one will even ask questions if it turned out fake

In fact, if you compare Let's Go sales at this point in time, it's tracking very similarly to Oras, even though there's less Switches in the wild right now than Oras had when it came out and even though it's more expensive.

Also this is a personal opinion but to me gen 6 marks the point when Pokemon completely becomes a "nostalgia" franchise, selling almost exclusively to the "remember this?" crowd.

I'm refering to him talking about how HGSS and what not outselling the third-versions as if it proved Let's Go sold badly, even though Let's Go ALSO outsold the third-versions and even though we still don't have full life-time numbers for it's sale. By all means it's tracking well when compares to the release timeframe of those other games, even though it's, again, more expensive and on a more expensive console with smaller install base.

DQ11S is just an example of another JRPG that has already proven itself to be good on previous releases but is releasing again with more content on the same hardware as Pokemon.
Could also get Luigi's Mansion 3. Astral Chain, Link's Awakening, Yokai Watch 4 yada yada.
Why buy another Pokemon game on release when the last 6 years of games have been cutting corners release after release and now they aren't even hiding their incompetence?

On a similar note, Gigantamax is not nearly as much of a hot topic as Megas or Regional Forms were. While there is some Gigantamax fanart, Megas and Regional Forms had way more in comparison. There isn't much discussion around Gigantamax either while people made so many theories or wish lists about possible Mega Evolutions and Alolan Forms. Though that might just be due to Gigantamax being the second version of the super form concept, and not an entirely new thing.

What you should do is get a drop of wareness on how the industry works. Half of those games don't remotely exist in the heads of people compared to Pokemon, and the two that actualy have a chance of selling well don't remotely come out close to Pokemon's launch.

Rule of thumb: sales only canibalize each other if they come out the same week and are aimed at the same audience. Otherwise it just doesn't happen. Your average normie isn't gonna go "ah, i bought Luigi's game in and beat it last month... so i guess i'll just skip Pokemon forever!!"
