>>39591978>Lol who cares about graphicsNo one who likes games because this is meant to cover for shitty gameplay 100% of the time.
As long as you can tell what's what imagination room is perfectly fine.
>Lol who cares about animationsAlso no one for the most part. As long as you can tell what's going on it's fine. If you make a running attack (coughz-movescough) the character shouldn't be standing immobile and flying forward (coughhackz-movescoughcoughhack) but for the most part animations are for "muh realz" which just slows shit down.
So should Blastoise the water from the canons? Sure, but we don't need them to dance around waiting for their fist to heat up or some stupid shit like a Fire Punch might. Fuck that.
You play games to have fun, not waste your time unless you're a zoomer brainlet (as shown by the rise of zoomer open worlds even in games they make zero sense in).
>Lol who cares about a good storyBasically no one who likes games. A good story can be fine, but even as a writer and big reader, if it gets in the way of gameplay it should be kept to a minimum. Especially in things like RPGs where you could use exploration to incorporate it optionally.
Would you really rather Rowan stops you outside the library in Canalave and tells you the shit in the books inside rather than just happening to go through the books on the shelves and find out on your own?
Because if so I have to ask you... Have you ever really cared abut something someone told you that wasn't actually helpful directly to your life? Probably not. But I bet you've gone out of your way to talk about some new fact you learned personally many times, right?
If you want to watch a movie, go watch a fucking movie. We're talking about games and blocking the gameplay is bad, mmkay?
