Diantha is such a wasted potential, her movie star gimmick would be much more interesting if she was at least foreshadowed at PokeStar Studios in anime or games. Also XY have too much player handholding for a pokemon game that's why she's easy for a champion.

You can catch an Elektrike early on so if you've been using it it should have the EVs to blow through things. Gardevoir also basically walls his team with its high special defense and learns Thunderbolt.
