I mean being put into a 3d fighting pokemon game is still considered shilling. Especially considering how much they were advertising Decidueye and the game. So it's not that they don't get shilled more of they don't get shilled hard enough.

Sceptile didn't appear early in the anime just to market its upcoming game.

Sceptile didn't get a Mega Evolution early and used as a tool to get people to buy the game early.
