Literally over 9,000 cards in the fucking game and nearly 150 actual characters from the shows.

You know getting 9K card effects to work correctly together and setting up proper decks for over 100 characters is going to be much harder than anything Game Freak has done for Shit and Shite.

Except there are real reasons. Hatred for reddit began because of that site constantly stealing content, whoring it out, and running it into the ground, with the first example that I know of being rage comics. Their up/down vote system is also completely antithetical to 4chan.
