What about all those times pokemon evolved and instantly not only knew how to use their new moves they were already experts? There are far far FAR more examples of that then what you guys are saying.

Either way they do seem to do it for plot or character building reasons. Fair enough, I didn't take that into consideration

his increase in height supports it.

That's how sensitive it is, so what do you figure would happen if you stuck an egg into Mews womb that has been significantly genetically alter? It'd be destroyed like a virus.

Mewtwo would have needed to be vat grown as just look at him, hes a fucking chimera not a Mew also the size difference would have made gestation inside of a Mew impossible unless you think mew's womb and body can stretch out like beach ball.

The line has a be throwback to before they fleshes the characters out or agreed on breeding mechanics in pokemon especially since we know now that all pokemon that breed lay eggs, Mew is pokemon there is no reason to believe it wouldn't too.

Using a species which is essentially the same species vs using a species which is genetically dissimilar then that you wish to gestate. Mewtwo is canonically a chimeric entity, he is not really a clone of mew hes a amalgam essentially a unique species.

True unfortunately they'd have be directly applied again due to how a womb works and you'd have to do so regularly. Futuremore what is Mews say in all this, do they got Mew strapped to a table bascially acting like an incubator? As think she'd turn that lab into dust if they tried that.

Ash hasn’t used Torracat, Lycanroc, or Pikachu in a real battle yet, Kaki has 3 Pokémon, and there’s only 3 more battles left for him. Ash is getting a Melmetal soon so that’s 4 Pokémon total that needs their time to shine.

If Ash beats Guzma, Ash vs Gladion would probably be a 6v6 match since Poipole or Tapu Keko could be his last Pokémon

They literally fucking are. Their genius is dead but their closest living genetic relitives the elephants in africa are basically genetically identical, they are closer then even grizzlys and polar bears which is why they've been chosen for the experiment, there is little change of rejection or complications during gestation because they are basically the same.

But why? That might sound cool in sci-fi but if you already have a vat that replicates the conditions of the womb needed to gestate the specimen why do you need Mew at all. If anything Mew complicates the experiment and makes it far more likely to fail as your artificial womb is under your complete control, Mew isn't nor is its body.

Also what is Mews say in all this? Is she, just going to let you use her an incubator. I don't think she would.

The entry is bullshit and I consider the fact its never referenced again while contradictory things pop up like vats and the whole breeding system; I think its safe to say it been retconned.

It makes no sense, if you have a tank which replicated the conditions of the womb to further gestation, why do you need living incubator at all, you can just use the Vat it would be far more controlled for your purpose. What you are saying is nonsense.

1. mew is a pokemon
2. mew is the progenitor of all pokemon species, so its DNA is probably more malleable or at the very least okay with other species
3. it's definitely possible that this wasn't the first attempt at cloning mew, the 66% figure you gave isn't 100%

First of all the only upright apes that would be compatible genetically by percentage difference to Mammoth-African Elephant would be Neanderthal-Human and guess what we know for a fact that fucking happened as we have Neanderthal DNA in us, all of us do. Its not a lot but it proved it happened.

Heres the kicker Neanderthals are actually MORE genetically different then us than African elephants are to Mammoths. We are talking a handful of gene sequences, Neanderthals had an additonal fucking chromosome.

Okay once is finished, what use is Mew? You'd have a fully functional artificial womb as that research is trying to produce, once you have it why would you risk an incredibly expensive experiment by using a living subject who can vaporize you and your entire staff , get sick or die, vs an articial womb you can fully control that replicates Mews womb just fine without the risk of anger this tiny cat god with your evil experiments?

I'm arguing In vitro wouldn't be viable for the same reason when they do in vitro they inject you with 5-10 eggs, rejection. And that is with eggs in very compatible donor ie the biological mother.

Imagine the nightmare trying to get an egg that has been spliced with multiple other donors belong to different pokemon as well as Non-pokemon sources like fucking HUman and non-pokemon plants. How do you get such an egg to not be rejected without completely suppressing the placental immune system?

Its possible sure but when they've done it with other species it sometimes takes hundreds of eggs before one sticks and even then there are severe complications for both mother and embryo. Even when it stick you can still lose it.

If you have the technology to grow it in a vat under controlled conditions where you only need to make a few eggs with zero worry of rejection why not do so?

And again what is Mews take on all this, its canonically a pure hearted creature why would it go along with evil experiments and how could you force it when its got the power to easily vaporize you and your staff.

Ironically the best solution and alternative to a vat would be to put Mewtwo in a egg and incubate it under controlled conditions. Its self contained and you could regulate the chemistry, nutrients, temperature, ect and the shell partially blocks pathogens. Mewtwo being a pokemon should be compatible with this form of gestation. Given the fact he takes a egg shape and body position in the vat kind of supports that.
