While it's good for a few quick battles, I've always preferred cartridge and using Pokemon that are mine but I suppose I'll get used to it with time. How does /vp/ feel about this?

Competitive died for me with triple battles.I prefer cartridge too, showdown just for rated random battles when I feel like it.

I'd never torture myself into breeding / soft reseting for perfect IVs (sometimes hidden abilities and egg moves too), getting perfect EVs and grinding to level 100 several times only to get cheesed by a moody baton pass smeargle, trapped into an endless battle or get fucked by some team full of broken shit Smogon banned several gens ago

So no, I prefer Showdown, even if it's a fake meta
