Anyone else remember being able to go to a version of the Hoenn region in Pokemon Crystal?
I vaguely remember a guide hinting at you being able to travel to the next generation's region and a screenshot of mauville city in gen 2 graphics.
I never made it that far in the game to see it for myself and a friend who did claim to make it there said they reused the gym leaders from Johto and said there were no new Pokemon.
I've looked it up and I can't find anything about this, does anyone else remember this being possible?
