The Latios and Latias one was actually a thing.
People were spamming them at the time saying they were supposed to be RS's box legendaries but there was no proofs about it, you have to remember that we only had one generation with legendaries as box mons back in 2001/2002. Groudon and Kyogre were only revealed one month before game's release.

I go to Serebii for pretty much everything Pokemon related. He posted this when he was 19, presumably when he took his job a lot less seriously. He's 33 now and pretty much only posts straight, factual news, with no bullshit clickbait like PokeJungle. It's also one of the only good databases for anything Pokemon related.

Pokemondb is are far more better than and streamlined than Serebii.
Hell even Bulbapedo goes out of it's way to give you interesting trivia and detailed descriptions.

Serebii is great for actual info, but as a Pokémon database it pales in comparison to other sites.
