I personally hope they have been hiding somethime large for the post-game or some kind of fun minigames like HGSS's pokeathlon and gamecorner

Worst thing that could happen? I would say that they show some familiar faces like Cynthia, Red, Blue, Gold etc. and say nothing else about anything.

Best thing would be that the past year was just a ruse to really surprise us, or that Wednesday I wake up from some coma and this has all been a hell while I was out of it.

From both a business and game standpoint:
Best thing would be to announce the full dex/announce they'll bring the full dex over the course of a year with free DLC.
Worst will be reminding people of the fact that there's a limited dex (giving us numbers, etc.), showing off more re-used animations, showing off really shit graphics, etc. This is the worst because it gives normietubers fuel to stoke the fire for a good while more.

The best thing:
Not necessarily the National Dex, but some kind of thing where all of the Pokemon are programmed but just not obtainable in THESE specific games. It was fine in Ruby and Sapphire to not have all the Pokemon because of the rest being in FireRed/LeafGreen.

The worst thing:
There are only about 40-50 new Pokemon so as to reuse as many old Pokemon models as possible. If they're gonna do this no National Dex thing they should at least include new Pokemon exclusively like Black and White did.

Something relating to the actual gameplay. If they announced a proper hard mode or if they said they were including the field effects system or if they said they were letting fangame developers to direct the gameplay of this title then yeah, that'd be great.

More new Pokemon, because they'll be shit.
More DLC/microtransactions. They already confirmed version exclusives will be available via DLC raids, so god knows what's next.
