may i recommend wingull/gulpin, currently playing through emerald myself and using both of these, they're my 2 best teammates so far, sludge hits hard as shit in gen 3, so i'd imagine in gen 6 where gulpin has naturally higher sp atk and sludge is special, he'll be a legit beast, also wingull is surprisingly strong as shit too, with just water gun
