If the evil team this gen does turn out to be Team Yell, why Yell? Why couldn’t they give them a name that relates to a sword and shield or something cool like Team Storm or separate teams like Team Cyan & Magenta? Yell just seems like a weird word to pair with an evil organization. Just saying

In Japanese, the loanword "yell" means "cheer", and is primarily used when talking about sports spectators. Team Yell are supposed to be hooligans.

The real question is why isn't Yellow the third legend? If Key (Black) is Eternatus' theme then the third version would likely be a physical key as a pun. Which would unlock an area teased in SwSh that makes Eternatus the primary legendary of the game.

This makes a load of sense because Sycamore has team Flare socks on. They color match perfectly. It was too ambitious and has to be reigned in too late into the project. It could have been on of the coolest most cerebral storylines to date

It would suck if they went this route because the inevitable Sinnoh remake would look redundant if they did. Cyrus wants to collapse the universe/multiverse and start anew. I hope Team Yell has a good plot line. Anther and Skull were well designed and written. A huge improvement over Galactic/Plasma/Flare in my opinion

Actually, there was a second leak that came out before Affleck if I remember right that said we'd get a legendary named "Meteodaina", Team Yell, and a water gym leader named "Ruri". Nessa's Japanese name is Rurina.
So both an asian leak and an english one called Team Yell the same thing.

The leak shoulda made it obvious. It said that Team Yell will be the fans of one of our rivals named Marnie that cause trouble.
My guess is Marnie will be super popular either because she's like an idol or because she's actually supposed to be "really strong" by story standards. Her fans then cause issues at the gyms and other league events trying to fuck with her opponents.
They're almost certainly gonna be a Team Skull type group where they're not the main baddies.
