Now that Nintendo's main console has all the bells and whistles including the cancerous payed online there's nothing stopping GF from just releasing a new Pokémon game with a new region and Dex and then adding 3D re-imaginings of the previous regions complete with the Pokémon that inhabit them to it, forget this "multiple version of the same game" bullshit model, it's time to step up, if 700+ mons are too much work for a single game then fucking make a "Future proof" game that can be expanded upon with DLC throughout the years then sell Season Passes. Boom, done a game where you can actually catch them all, and where tweaks and nerfs can be applied via patching and you won't even need to buy the DLC regions if you want a specific mon since trading is still a thing.
