>>39623290I used to roll exclusively with Squirtle, but in later years have pretty much always gone for Charmander now. Gen I just has so many god tier water types and Blastoise plainly is not one of them.
The only reason I sometimes go Squirtle still is not to keep the Squirtle, but so that the rival has Venusaur/Gyarados/Arcanine, which is a boss trio compared to how he ends up in other choices.
