Porygon is my favorite mon and I like the evos but not as much tbqh I really like retro games and cgi render art so the smoothed evos are less appealing but conceptually I love them. A duck is perfect because it has a touch of the Pinocchio feel to it, a fake Pokémon that became a real Pokémon (animal) over time. It doesn't have the space faring lore but it could be that instead of odd science applications they decided it was more ethical to make it integrate into the food web and live out a happy normal life.
I think it's probably a good concept evo to end the line. Or it goes retrofuture and feels more at home in space or online which bucks wholesome feels for lonesome feels. Idk take your pick
