We could still trade over the original forms with Gen 7 but now that we know the national dex got cut, what does that mean for the original forms of the Pokemon with new galarian forms? Can we not use the original Weezing in any capacity? This is a serious question that game freak should answer before the game comes out. Considering if evolution works like it did for alolan marowak from a regular Cubone, I really am leaning on decide that this is now weezing. Period. No original form anywhere to be found.
On that note, does this also mean the original zigzagoon longer exists? in all future generations either they have to cut access to obstagoon or we just don't get the original zigzagoon anymore. It's going to be one of the other because you know game free. They are not going to let us get both forms of this Pokemon. It was a pain in the neck to do it in gen 7, it's going to be a pain in the neck again. They would probably just axe rather than make it an option.
