Why is it that every single interview with Masuda or Gamefreak staff is so distanced from the many problems the Pokemon series is currently facing?
* Nobody ever asks about or even mentions how dissatisfied hardcore fans have been with the 3DS era and beyond.
* Nobody brings up the horrible framerate drops in LeGoPiEe that still haven't been fixed a year later.
* Nobody brings up the horrible, shitty graphics and animation in Sword and Shield.
* Nobody brings up how scummy locking Pokemon behind physical DLC in addition to spreading them across two games is.
Is this just another case of games journalists being spineless hacks who are afraid of losing interview privileges, or are they just so disconnected from the games that they genuinely have no idea what they should be asking?
