Besides in order to use it he'd have to take his mates place, that would give houndoom a free hit, BITE oops Malestic is now dead before he could use miracle eye. Also even if he succeeded the psychic attacks would still only do normal damage while Houndoom's attacks would still do 2-4x. They'd still be fucked.
