Zigzagoon and Lineoon had a good theme (zigzags and lines), very cute and memorable designs, and were even good in battle (provided you actually bothered to use one since many people overlook them for "muh tiers"). The Galarian forms have very tacky, terrible and ugly designs that make very little sense: Zigzagoon looked like a cute goofy zigzag racoon, while this version looks like the shirt you'd wear in jail and lacks the famous "mask" Racoons have in place of star glasses. Linoone and...the abomination it evolves into are arguably even worse. Especially Obstagoon, who looks too human and awkwardly proportioned to even be remotely appealing.
But the idea that THIS was supposed to be the original is just stupid. The real OG Zigzagoon looks like a natural wild animal that could live just about anywhere. This one looks just so...unnatural. I don't know how to describe it but it's like an insult to the original design, because THIS sure as hell wasn't what the guy who made the original line was envisioning when he made them. It sure as hell doesn't look like that thing evolved that way in the wild, if anything I'd be more willing to believe Galarian Zigzagoon had to evolve into their current forms to cope with a harsher environment than them being the actual original form of Zigzagoon and the Raccoon we all know and love is apparently just what it looks like from "going soft".
Zigzagoon looks like a cute natural creature while this thing looks just so retarded. It feels more like a tacky costume you'd force one to unwillingly wear for a contest, not what it would have originally been. How the fuck did these things get off the board? Obstagoon is Obstagod-fucking-awful, and the rest of it's line are the fucking worst. Any shred of hope I had left for these games is fucking gone. They didn't just ruin an already perfect design but they spat on it too.
