Casual players don't care about it.
Competitive players are all going to max every stat they can so they're on an even playing field. So in order to not be at a disadvantage you have to if you want to play competitively. Meaning you have to go through hours and hours of tedium in order to be able to have a chance. Which is in no way shape or form fun at all.
