Serperior is so weird to me because it's so hard to use effectively in-game, but get a hidden ability Contrary Serperior and you can just spam Leaf Storm to relative success.

Wobbuffet. Used one in ORAS for fun, but got annoyed at the AI making subpar choices and practically wasting turns which practically made a counter-based mon unusable.

Trying to use this thing in fangames where TMs are rare and the strong ones are usually lategame is hell.

I didn't find this the worst. In HGSS you actually get to pick one up early with Primo's Egg code and Fire Blast is in Goldenrod. You do basically have to not use it against a lot of stuff in the mid-game though since it's so slow and frail. Magcargo isn't great once you get there but it's pretty fun, helps that Fire/Rock is less terrible ingame since a lot of stuff uses Normal moves.

Pretty much any Pokemon that is wholly defensive that doesn't have a good offensive typing.

Also Noibat in Gen 7, because even from the point of when you get it, its stats are garbage.

Completely unusable in Gen 3 unless you're willing to dump the best TMs into it. Especially in Gale of Darkness where switch training is only 1/3 as effective unless you like repeatably blowing up your Baltoy.

I had a quiet one with Toxic, confuse ray, amnesia and Giga drain and it was my ace. It's way more serviceable than armaldo.

Shuckle, eventually, but it was fun for longer than I expected. It was just passive damage for as long as possible between attract, wrap, sandstorm and toxic. Then I tried defense curl/rollout shenanigans but the 95%(?) accuracy of rollout let me down almost every time it got close to a full 5 chain
