Regional forms are stupid, and what's even more stupid they gave cross gen evolutions to them but not to originals.
Just give us either new cross gen pokemon or brand new Pokémon. Just stop creating stupid rehashed designs is that so hard.

Judging by obstagoon it would suck if they added something the normal on doesn't and use that as the main theme. Like farfetch'd for example what if the stick became a broom and the new evolution becomes a maid or butler?

Big fans of linoone deserve to be the most upset at this, because the pokemon they may have used in every game or passed down through generations CANT evolve, not to mention the evolution is based on an entirely new design
Gamefreak isnt giving these pokemon a new spotlight and attention, theyre fucking rebooting them and its a huge middle finger to anyone who considers them a personal favorite

Agreed. I was just thinking that the dex needed another shitty normal type rodent line! Why make interesting regional forms to make the region seem like a real place when you could just bloat the dex with a mon that is fundamentally the same thing as a regional form?

Pokemon like linoone, furret, sneasel, weavile, zangoose, etc are some of the best designed in the series. They pass as creatures, not characters, animal like but not my mom's X
