>>39676051>First time using Sceptile and Kadabra, really?Strangly enough, yes. I've played through Hoenn twice before, using Blaziken in Ruby and Swampert in ORAS. Most of the times I've played through Emerald I've used a randomizer so I decided to switch things up and just do a normal playthrough.
As for Kadabra, I never really trend toward using Psychic types most of the time. In fact, the first time I ever used a Psychic type was Meowstic-M in X. So it was interesting getting to use a Pokemon people tend to regard as one of the best in-game.
Funnily enough, I was actually planning on raising a Walrein just to take on Drake, but then I figured Pelipper and Sceptile were more than enough to take him on so I just used it as an HM slave. One of these days I'll use it.
