If you can wiimmfi it then I see no reason why not. The way friend codes work with wiimmfi you might need a new save if you didn't add your friend code during the run up period. I recall that I did and then never bothered figuring out how to get it working, I should change that.

It didn't sell that well for being the first wii game to have wifi connection. I think there was an interview that asked why stadium games aren't being made and they said since battles are already in 3d, there was no need.
