>>39675567Not OP but Alolan Rattata has some thought put into it, it's whiskers are a double reference to both traditional Japanese theif masks and the stereotypical Italian moustache (a la the mafia, with Raticate serving as the don). Gumshoos further reinforces it, by being the detective trying to investigate the crime syndicate.
Of course the same is true for Galarian Zangoose and its evolutions, my point is just that people seriously underestimate the amount of thought that goes into most Pokemon designs.
