What i hope will change with this backlash is the policy of "no more national dex in any new pokemon game forever", becaue your shitmon can be in SwSh, but they will surely be cut out from some of the next games in the future. If youre safe for now, you will more likely to get fucked the next time.
for me, i will just skip SwSh, not because of the culling, but because GF blatant bullshit and lies to cover up theyr decision made by lazyness and money greed. I will never pay 50% more money of the 3DS games to get the same handled game but with less content that was excused with lies.
