>>39678653No, that would be SM. If RSE didn't exist, ORAS wouldn't be that bad albeit it's a lot worse than its predecessor. But what it does have is every Pokemon/attack and online, so some might argue that makes it better than RSE regardless, but overall RSE is a much better single-player experience.
SM on the other hand
>no region anymore, just featureless hallways leading to more painfully slow NPC interactions>convenient online gone, have fun grinding for tickets or whatever that shit was>megas cut>regressed in the graphics department, emoteless MC the entire game (even the protag in XY looked somwhat concerned when red hair madman fired up the thing)>50% of the dex is legendaries (most of the rest is furshit)>all the alternate forms of battle cut + one new shitty one no one ever did>mantine surf XDDDD>z-move animations are embarrassing, Pokemon are static and don't move while flying around the screen like something from an AVGN game>no improvements to animations even though it's a new fucking gen (same ugly crap as XY)>the entire thing is a tutorial, it takes almost an hour to get your first starter, frantically mashing A through ten-thousand text boxes, being bombarded with random people you wish would just leave you alone proclaiming you're their new best friend, but the dialogue is all jibberish, like some 5 year old wrote it opposed to it being written FOR 5 year olds>interruptions are non-stop and last throughout the game, even worse in USM and they didn't even have the courtesy to add a skip button which almost might have saved the entire thingDude I could keep going on, ORAS was disappointing but it was still a Pokemon game and the PSS is great. SM went off the rails harder than I've ever seen, removing everything that made Pokemon good and doubling down on everything that made XY and ORAS bad.
