What stats would you modify or add to pokemon? As a stamina stat replacing PPs linked to the other stats decreasing them as it's consumed for example

I agree, I just think that it would allow pokemon to be a lot more """diverse""" in how they can be used. More offensive pokemon could have slightly lower accuracy to balance it out

Isn't that a good thing? I think accuracy and evasion stats would allow a lot more pokemon to be viable instead of us having to have so many tiers

Obviously not, unless something is outrageously good, having a 20% chance to miss on every move or something similar makes it so inconsistent you will just pick something else.
By doing this you are probably just either A making the game more RNG heavy which is bad, or B making only things with high accuracy (or fat because self targetting moves can never miss like recover) more dominant. IMO This will just centralise the meta more, nothing becomes more viable with an accuracy stat, only less things become viable.

That would be good if accuracy and evasion weren't rng dependant. But I can't think any good way to get rid of rng, as this is turn based, and if it needed user input it wouldn't be hard because of kids and everything would have 100%

No I don't really think lando is all that problematic, but let's take the premise that I do.
I would much rather redistribute stats, nerf intimidate, change its ability than just add a 5% rng.
5% RNG while it will technically make Lando a worse pokemon is something that you can't really take as a huge factor as it isn't massively likely furthermore lando has various unique properties over other grounds, and a 5% chance to miss isn't changing that.

people use lando because it is a ground immune, volt blocker, intimidator that can get rocks up, revenge kill, scout, pivot, wallbreak, or sweep depending on the set. Because it can do all of these things, you have a lot more freedom in choosing your other 5 because it can patch holes in so many different builds, no matter how accurate the EQ is

Even better, no type limit. Arceus has all types, an elemental pokemon gets electric, water, fire, grass, flying and earth, if a pokemon has five themes going on has five types and so on

You don't "fix rng" pokemon is always going to have some RNG. You lesser the impact of rng and that has been happening gen on gen. Crits do 1.5x, burn does less damage which is pretty much a scald nerf, more stuff is para immune, sleep turns not resetting on switch, z moves have perfect accuracy etc.

I have to be honest I understand it but not well enough to explain it, pretty much it means that the outcome is still pseudorandom but the odds of getting a shitty or extremely good outcome are less than getting one closer to the mean.

Damage rolls use the right distribution. The way I would implement it is to have the mean be set at 1 and pick a random value and multiply it by the moves accuracy
