Well yeah a good non spherical non fursuit option would be nice, I just wonder which people think is the lesser of two evils out of the options we have been given.
Personally I go for option 2, and think obstagoon is a step up from the just make it fatter gen 4 evos. What do you think, if a natural animal/monster design isn't on the table?

Sorry anons, thematic progression and natural growth are apparently not options, this is a no win 'would you rather' game.
Yeah I agree though, I don't mind mons that just have a more natural evolution feel, and good thematic expansion is always nice. Not sure what they would have done to expand on linoone though, and I definitely don't dislike a kiss badger as an unrelated concept.

Seems like most of them it doesn't get bigger, just gets sleeker and smoother and made with more basic, less organic shapes. There's not many evos to draw a generalisation from, mostly babies.

Depends, some designs are more fit for humanoid and round designs. Plus they're not the only choice. Pokemon like Nidoking and queen dont really fall under "fursuite" or "fat" and they're still like bipedal monsters who make it work. Same for things like garchomp, charizard, baynette, and so on

I think the fat ones are more disappointing. "Fursuit" evolutions aren't ideal but I'll take those designs any day over a god damn sphere.
