The campaigns have been boring, easy, repetitive, hand holdy, full of tutorials, etc. ask yourself how much you REALLY enjoyed the campaigns of the last few games. You storyfags are content with paying 60 dollars for 20 hours of anime waifus and cute creatures just to drop it, forget it and continue to reminiscence about how good Pokemon used to be in gen 1. It's us, people who play multiplayer, injectfags, breedfags and casuals all alike, who are really getting fucked in the ass because of the whole dex thing.
That's the tapeworm cherry on this turdcake. The game is technically a decade behind, has extremely mediocre art direction, runs on an engine ported from 3DS and has the single worst lineup of brand new Pokemon we've seen yet. And, it costs 60 dollars unlike all other core games barring LGBT.
If you buy this game, you're the cancer killing Pokemon. Period.

The number of pokemon add variety. The number of pokemon is not a factor of content.
Were XY and SM the most content heavy games with their linear gameplay, heavily restricted route structure, and poor post-game? Just because they had the most pokemon you could catch and most pokemon you could obtain respectively? Is that what defines content? Not something like Johto which has 2 regions, 16 gyms and less linear region? Just because it only had 250 pokemon you could catch? Oh wow, Kalos has 3x as much content as Johto!! What incredible games.

We really have no idea how much content is in these games, saying the content has been cut makes you look like a fucking peabrain. It is a loss of content, in the sense that if a racing game's sequel had less tracks it would be "less content", but the number of monsters is still massive, and still gives one an amazing potential of team combinations. In fact, considering that the great majority of players never 100% the games, to most people this just isn't a removal that will ever genuinely affect them. Most people didn't use or catch everyone when we only had meastly 150 or 250 people to think about, imagine now that 1000+ creatures exist. The game could halve the dex by 50% and still isn't a true "content loss" that will make itself felt by anyone other than the hardcore.

It's just a different nature. Mario Tennis Aces? More characters than ever with more being added, objectively more content than previous games now thanks to the updates the game has gotten. But it still feels like an inferior package because it lacks features that are common in other sports titles. Some kind of content is just considerably more palpable for the experience than others.

Except I, and people like me, fall into that bracket, so to us it IS a loss of content. I like 100%ing the games and catching them all. I did it in Red, Yellow, Gold, Ruby, FireRed, Emerald, Diamond, Platinum, HeartGold, Black, Black2, X, Omega Ruby, Sun, and Ultra Sun. I don't plan on even buying Sword, and I'm hoping Ultra Sword or whatever it will be called will have the national dex.

The pokemon themselves are not the content unless you're specifically obtaining them. In that sense, yes, there's less content. The pokemon are more how you interact with the content of the game. You can choose how to interact with the content based on what pokemon you choose to use. That's why it's way more appropriate to say that the dex cut is less variety more than less content. The loss of the national dex specifically is less content, because the national dex expanded the content of actually catching the pokemon. However this isn't the main issue people have. People are upset that they cannot interact with the contact how they want to. I'm not defending the dex cut, I'm against the use of the notion that the dex cut is a loss of content. It's losing variety which is shitty, but the amount of things you can interact with remains similar.

This is why older games in the franchise still at least hold up, despite having less pokemon. They don't have less content, they arguably have more content, and more of that content is meaningful.

The dislikes are related to the content of the video.

The first one has so many dislikes because it contains information about the dex shit, and it has raw footage filled with errors.

The next two videos have no dislikes related to their content, it's purely based on the hate of no national dex. The only reason they don't have those same amount of dislikes is because they make no mention of it.
