So I just got some informations about the upcoming games.
- Alola region, based on Hawaii. The region don't have to much cities instead it appears to be a more countrysided region with a lot of enviroments going around in 4 islands: MeleMele, Akala, Ula Ula and Poni. Each island has a legendary guardian named Tapu.
- You receive your starter from MeleMele Kahuna Hala. Each island has a Kahuna which is the strongest trainer there. This Kahuna system seems to be related with a new mechanic named Island Trial which will replace Gyms and Gym Leaders.
- Starters are Rowlet (Grass/Flying), Litten (Fire) and Popplio (Water). Owl/Cat/Sea lion respectively.
- There is a new battle mechanic called Z Moves where a trainer need to perform a dance in order to Pokemon use a overpowered move. Z Moves are sorted by types. Professor Kukui studies this phenomenon.
- Raticate has a new form, he's dark type and fat. Actually, a lot of Pokemon have a new form exclusive to Alola. Exeguttor looks more like a palm tree and Ninetales seems to live on a icy area located in Ula Ula island.
- Some new Pokemon includes a lot of alien Pokemon named Ultra Beasts. I really can't describe how they look because actually they don't even look like Pokemon. Aether Foundation is a foundation located on an artificial island that searches for Ultra Beasts and try to catch them. Professor Lusamine is the president and she seems a bit paranoid on Ultra Beasts.
- Your new rival is named Hau but you will also meet Lillie who is Lusamine's daughter, she doesn't like to battle and carries with her legendary Pokemon Cosmog. Cosmog is the pre evolved form of legendary Pokemon Solgaleo and Lunala. It evolves at day in Pokemon Sun for Solgaleo and at night in Pokemon Moon for Lunala. It also has a cocoon form which is likely a defense form.
- This evolution system is also how you evolved Rockruff, a rock dog Pokemon that evolves to Lycanroc Midday in Pokemon Sun and Lycanroc Midnight in Pokemon Moon.
