I get demanding quality for something your interested in. But I will still gladly play SwSh and I am so hyped for it.

Im undecided on buying it. I will wait to see if there is any worthwhile post-game content. But if most of the Pokemon designs are trash, or the game is even worse graphically or in terms of gameplay than what we’ve already seen, or there’s just no post-game again, I’ll probably just wait for the third version or DP remakes.

Oh also if Tangela, Lickitung, and Dunsparce aren’t in the game, I’m not buying it

i'm going to emulate it because i don't have a switch and i don't want to buy one because i'm saving up my money for something else. in all honesty, all i need in order to enjoy the game is a new region and perhaps a new mini game and battle facility. i don't need a shit ton of post game content or graphics to enjoy it.

It really depends what you're looking for.

As an example XY is far from perfect, in fact it has tons of flaws and yet its one of my absolute favourites because i love the feel and the unique atmosphere in the game.

Sword and Shield already shows some issues but at the same time i get a similar vibe i got from Kalos now from Galar

Liking those games is not dettached from context. When you're a baby you eat baby food. When you're a kid in 2000 you are fine playing a game boy game with no QOL features and primitive graphics and a screeching soundchip that reminds us of how Nintendo's cost-cutting goes back ages and ages.

I would not put myself thru that crap ever again, if I want to replay Johto I'd play HGSS.
