I was planning not to buy SwSh due to the lack of national dex. Anyone who understands how games are developed knows that the sheer number of Pokémon isn't an excuse when GF recycles assets, and core mechanics and move pools change little between generations. Still, even if every like-minded individual doesn't buy the game, it's definitely still going to sell to its actual target demographic: children. I do not want to contribute my money to this bullshit, though, and so for all other anons who want to play but don't want to encourage these practices, I think I've come to a perfect solution: buy second-hand. You'll get the game a bit cheaper, and the developers will see no additional money from it. If you're planning on caving, please buy used.
