A supposed leak from 5 years ago suggests that XY's plot actually revolved about Team Flare being alien invaders looking for AZ, whose's Floette's flower was the key to activate the Ultimate Weapon. https://archive.nyafuu.org/vp/thread/18355410/

Regardless of if said thing is true or false, it's obvious that XY was rushed to meet the deadline and the script for the game was merely a rough draft.

Xerneas is the only one that matters out of the aura trio since Xerneas is the avatar of literal embodiment of life, the tree of life. Its the only one of the three who could pull a Thanos but it never fucking would as while death is part of life, causing it arbitrarily isn't so I don't know how useful it would be. As to Yveltal it has its own problems like wraith and potential for massive collateral so what the fuck were they even thinking. They would have been better off making another Mewtwo and it probably would have been easier and they could have put a bomb in its head for if it got unruly, something they couldn't do for Xerneas or Yveltal

Lysandre believed that would be a golden age to those wise enough to make good use of it. No traffic jams, there would be enough houses where everyone would have their own vacation homes, raising a child wouldn't be difficult because there'd be limited need to work and so forth.

In game team flare are dumbasses and lack the skills to start a new world as most of them didn't know what the plan was until the very end. In real life it could work but with human nature again most of the survivors would be have some next level survivors guilt and you would need basically at least. one human being that could for everything unlikely without it fucking up
