Either Sinnoh, Johto, or Unova.
Sinnoh because it's a nice mix of rural villages and bustling cities, and it has a cold climate along with beautiful landscapes.
Johto because it's a very country and traditional region, lots of great historical sites and culture.
And Unova because it's about the closest to where I grew up, a city with suburbs/burgs that's full of the lifestyle and cultures that come with a city. It's what I would be most comfortable with at first, that's for sure.

Johto because of the history and culture. I’m really into history so I would definitely want to study the ruins and take in the traditional atmosphere.

I live in a small house in Verdanturf with my pokemon. I wake up early in the morning, brew me a cup of (joe shill) and open the window to let in the cool morning breeze that carries the fresh, tasty scent the town is known for. I take my mawile on a leisurely stroll to the pokemart to buy groceries, My numels's hump acts as a stove to cook breakfast on. Lotad helps me with doing the dishes afterwards. After having done all that, I sit down to get some writing done. I don't make much, but I can work at my own pace. I give the finished papers to my pelliper to carry to my editor in Rustboro city, but sometimes i take the tunnel and deliver them myself when I have errand to run in the city. In the evening we go to the battle tent to amuse ourselves with some wholesome battles. I come home, go to sleep and zigzagoon cuddles on to me. I send it away cause its zaggy fur pokes my face. It has its own little bed to sleep in. Yup, life is good.

Live in Kanto currently but about to end that three year streak and go to the “too much water” areas of hoenn.
But more than anywhere in Japan I loved Sinnoh. Really based place to go during the winter festivals.
I’m really gonna miss Japanese winters, and the friends and flings I had during them.
Anyway sorry for the blogpost
